Mark Stay was named Head Coach of the Varsity Girls' Softball Team.
Coach Stay is excited to help the Stars softball team reach their full potential through individual player and team development. With Faith as the central focus, Coach Stay will work to maintain and strengthen fundamentals while advancing the players' technical skills and softball IQ. Mark loves the game of softball and he would be happy to "spend all day and night on the softball field." Coach Stay is looking forward to sharing his enthusiasm with the team!
Mark grew up in rural central Minnesota spending much of his time playing sports, focusing on baseball and football at Princeton High School. Mark was raised in a Christian home and later devoted his life to Christ as an adult. Today, one of Mark's favorite ways to deepen his faith is through the studies and fellowship found in the Mens' group ministry at Grace Church.
Mark and his wife Shannon reside in Chanhassen with their two daughters, Adelia and Ellie. Mark enjoys volunteering at his girls’ school while also serving as the VP of Softball for the Chanhassen Athletic Association. In his spare time, Mark enjoys traveling with his family, doing woodworking and home improvement projects, watching sports and working on puzzles.
