We are excited to hire Ernie Rose as the new boys golf coach at Southwest Christian High School. Ernie played for Midland Junior College where he earned 1st Team All-American honors in 2000 and won 10 individual titles from 1998-2000. He finished playing collegiately at the University of South Carolina (2000-2001), where he placed 6th in the SEC Championship.

After College Ernie earned his PGA Tour card of Australasia and played from 2001-2008. He also spent time caddying on the tour with Tom Kite and John Harris. Ernie was previously the Director of Instruction at the University of Minnesota for Men's and Women's golf, the head Women's golf coach at Charleston Southern University as well as the Director of Instruction at Windsong Farm Golf Club. Ernie currently runs a golf academy in Eden Prairie where he as trained over 60+ Division I golfers. 

Ernie will bring an incredible amount of golf experience to our golf programs, what I am most excited about is his love for the Lord and how he will integrate that into our boys golf program here at Southwest Christian.
