We are excited to welcome the newest member of the Southwest Christian High School Athletic Department, Tiffany Stubbs! Tiffany will be joining the athletic staff as the Assistant Athletic Director and Head Girls Basketball Coach.
Tiffany grew up in Ames, Iowa, where she graduated from Des Moines Christian High School where she played volleyball, ran track, and received all-state honors in basketball. She attended the University of Northwestern - St. Paul where she earned her degree in Public Relations and Biblical Studies. Tiffany was a four year member of the UNW women’s basketball team (NCAA Division III). Tiffany’s collegiate career is full of accolades. She was a contributing member of the first team to ever make it to the NCAA tournament in 2014, a UMAC Conference Championship team in 2015, and was a part of over 80 career wins in her four years. Stubbs was an All-Conference Player three times as well as an Academic All Conference Player, and is currently in the top three all-time in career 3 pointers made at UNW. After graduation in 2017, Tiffany worked at Medtronic as a Training Administration Specialist where she planned internal events and managed training.
In 2017, Tiffany joined the coaching staff at Concordia Academy High School as the JV Head Coach, and in 2018, she was named the Varsity Head Coach. During her time at Concordia, Stubbs was given Honorable Mention Coach of the Year honors across all classes in 2020 and Section Coach of the Year in 2021. In her three seasons, she led the Beacons to three conference championships and three consecutive section final appearances; in 2020, the team made the MN State Tournament for the first time in school history. Her career record at Concordia was 55-22.
In her free time, she likes to spend time with her friends, family, and her dog. She also loves to travel, explore new places and meet new people. She is passionate about mentoring high schoolers to help them reach their full potential as athletes and as women of Christ.
Tiffany comes highly recommended by her former communities, and we are excited to have her experience and energy in our athletic program.
